Among the several issues, he had to select the one. It was like selecting a less bad thing among the bad ones. But the irony was that according to the official orders, the person choosing the toughest issue will be promoted and paid more. Not only selecting was a task but they also had to accomplish it within the deadline.
Everyone was afraid of this new thread. There was a risk, in fact a high probability of getting failed. The heart goes for the toughest thing while the brain denies. "What if I take risk? And yes, this month I am already in a great need of money. The loans, family needs....hell lot of work. But would I be able to accomplish it? What if I couldn't and Boss demoted me? I would be insulted before all colleagues", he murmured.
After convincing himself he went to the boss. "Sir, I have thought a lot and now I believe that I must take this toughest issue and work on it. I think that I would be able to resolve it as soon as possible", these were his words before his Sir.
"Man, you are not new in this branch. Over 3 years, you have worked here and moreover on such type of issues only. The toughest issue has already been taken by a newly recruited person. So you are late.And yes, I must tell you that the special issue which I declared as "the toughest" was not the toughest actually. It was one of the most simple issue among all. So, first try to trust on your own potential and if you get an opportunity then grab it as soon as possible. Because it doesn't come with a "Pause" option.
